ALZHEIMER'S AID SOCIETY
OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA
What We Do
The Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California has grown over the years to play a vital role in the lives of caregivers and their families.
We assist these individuals by offering a bi-monthly newsletter, information packets that include our well-known “blue book,” in-service training, and our annual Caregiver’s Conference. In addition, we use donation dollars by providing direct services such as legal assistance, home visits, respite for caregivers and patient evaluation and placement in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Assisted Living Facility.
Staffed by volunteers, our aim is to provide assistance to anyone who asks for our help.
In order to further our mission, the Alzheimer's Aid Society of Northern California has several fund raisers each year. We offer our Annual 5K Memorial Run/Walk in July, our Drive ‘Fore’ the Cure Golf Tournament in September, and, for the first time ever, our Modesto location will sponsor a “Harvest Moon Auction & Dinner” in October.
