Alzheimer’s Aid Society SPECIAL EVENTS for 2010
The Alzheimer’s Aid Society would like to suggest 3 additional ways you can help support our organization – volunteer at one of our events, make a donation, or decide you want to become one of our sponsors and help support the cause. The effort and time dedicated to both Special Events is practically a year-long process. Our 5K run/walk is a family oriented event that takes place in one of the most beautiful parts of Sacramento – the Fabulous Forties neighborhood….and, what a healthy event as well!
If golf is more to your liking, then join us September 17, 2010 at Mather Golf Course for one of the best organized golf tournaments in the region. It is not your ordinary tournament, and that is what makes it enticing. For example, we have our famous, “move-up hole” on #16, or you may want to bowl, (that’s right, using a real bowling ball) on hole #7, and to top it off, on hole #12, you get to roll our special dice to decide what club you’ll use on this hole until you get on the green.
If you’re a serious runner or golfer, a “stroll through the park” walker, or just weekend golfer, please keep in mind – we are out there to contribute to a good cause and enjoy ourselves in the process. See you there!
